Nathan Senn serves as the Managing Attorney of Guest & Brady’s Laurens office, leading the firm’s real estate practice in the Laurens. Joining the firm in March 2024, Nathan brings over 15 years of legal experience. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, where he provides clients with friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented service tailored to their unique needs.

Nathan grew up on his family’s farm just north of the City of Laurens, where the Senn family has had its roots since 1890.  After graduating from Laurens Academy in 2002, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree, with honors, in Political Science from Clemson University in December 2005. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in May 2009, receiving top honors in trial advocacy.

After his admission to the South Carolina Bar in 2010, Nathan established his own firm in Charleston, SC, where he managed a thriving litigation practice before relocating his firm and family to his hometown of Laurens in 2017.  After more than fourteen years in solo practice, Nathan joined Guest & Brady as part of the firm’s real estate team, opening the firm’s sixth office, located in downtown Laurens. Nathan has also completed extensive training through the South Carolina Bar to serve as a certified mediator.

In addition to his legal career, Nathan serves as the Mayor of the City of Laurens, reflecting his deep commitment to public service and community development. Since his election in 2019, and re-election in 2023, his leadership has guided the city through generational changes, and the city has experienced significant economic and population growth. He brings his understanding of local government, laws, history, and the potential of the community to his work at Guest & Brady, and these have proven to be important assets for our clients.  Prior to his service as Mayor, Nathan also taught Business Law to upper-level students as an adjunct faculty member of Presbyterian College, where he currently serves on the College’s Board of Trustees.

An ordained Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Nathan previously served on the Session of Second Presbyterian Church of Charleston and is a member First Presbyterian Church of Laurens.  He is an avid supporter of Clemson athletics and enjoys spending time with his dog, Maggie.

Nathan’s extensive experience, combined with his dedication to public service and community engagement, positions him as a trusted advisor for clients navigating the complexities of real estate law in Laurens County. He is committed to upholding Guest & Brady’s mission to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to them and to have a positive influence on all while providing quality legal services.
